The Fifth Family is a free-to-play, browser-based mafia role-playing game (RPG) and text-based massively multiplayer online RPG (MMORPG). Build a criminal reputation across 10 city districts, climb a syndicate, run rackets, and carve out your place in the underworld — from any modern browser, iOS device, or Android phone. Launched March 2026.

The mafia browser game genre has a long history — Torn (2003), Omerta, Mafia 1930, Mob Wars and others defined it. The Fifth Family carries that lineage forward with a mobile-first interface, real-time player-vs-player (PvP) combat, and the kind of user experience (UX) players expect in 2026. Do I need to download anything?
No. The Fifth Family runs in any modern web browser on desktop or mobile. Native iOS and Android apps are available on the App Store and Google Play if you prefer a dedicated app, but they’re entirely optional.
Can I play on my phone?
Yes — the game is designed for it. There are native apps for iOS and Android, and the web interface is fully responsive. Crimes, casino games, family chat, the item market and combat all work cleanly on a touch screen.
How does combat work?
Combat is real-time and stat-based. Your strength, defence, agility and dexterity drive the result, alongside equipped weapons, vehicle and active perks. Win and you steal cash from your opponent. Lose and you spend time in hospital recovering.
What other activities are there besides crimes and combat?
Plenty. Casino games (Plinko, Blackjack, Roulette, Mines), a live stock market, a player-driven item market, smuggling routes between districts, stolen-vehicle racing, coordinated heists with your crew, and street intel that opens up opportunities. Two large collectible systems run alongside the core game: the Vigilantes roster (95 collectible NPCs across five mafia families, each progressing through four star ranks for stacking combat bonuses) and The Menagerie (collectible pets across six rarity tiers that grant passive stat bonuses and a profile showcase). The game rewards finding your own path.
Is there a community?
Yes. There’s an official Discord server, in-game family chat, a global feed, and a regularly updated gazette announcing changes and events. Player support is handled directly through an in-game ticket system.
