Rackets Relaunch & Item Market Pagination

The Underworld Reopens.

Rackets relaunch tomorrow @ 12:00. Fully rebuilt from the ground up.

The old system was tired. Raids fired off infrequently with no warning, payouts felt thin, and once you had three rackets there was nothing left to think about. That ends tomorrow.

What's New.

Investigation

Every racket now has a visible 0–100 Investigation gauge that builds as you collect and cools while idle. No more random raids — you'll see the heat coming.

  • Cold (0–25) — 0% raid chance
  • Watching (26–50) — 1% raid chance
  • Active (51–75) — 5% raid chance
  • Imminent (76–100) — 15% raid chance

Pressure

Crank each racket between 0% and 100% to scale your income. Pressure 100 gives +50% income but doubles the investigation you build per collection. The slider's locked for 6 hours after every change — no quick toggling for collect spikes.

Heat Management

Three new actions to keep the cops at bay:

  • Bribe — Slip a cop a cut of your payout to drop investigation by 30. 24-hour cooldown.
  • Lay Low — Skip your next collection, drop investigation by 20. 24-hour cooldown.
  • Move Operations — Skip the next 3 collections, drop investigation by 50. 7-day cooldown.

Specialisations

Each racket can be specialised once, permanently:

  • Cash Machine — +25% income, 1.5× raid risk. Aggressive.
  • Quiet Operation — −10% income, 0.7× raid risk. Long-term safe play.
  • Money Launderer — Income deposits straight to bank with a 3% fee.
  • Front Business — −10% income but reduces personal heat by 1 every 10 minutes.

Fresh Start For Everyone.

Every existing racket has been wiped - we felt this was the relevant move since 90% of the player base hadn't been raided even once with the old system. Level requirements have been completely rebalanced — the top racket now sits at Lv.125 with $200,000 base income. There's something to chase at every stage of the game now, from Lv.5 all the way up.

Open the Rackets panel tomorrow and tap How Rackets Work at the top — full reference guide is built right in as you enter so you're not overwhelmed.

Item Market — Now Paginated.

Quick housekeeping while we're here. The Item Market now properly shows 50 listings per page with full pagination, and search hits the entire database — not just the visible page. Find what you're looking for, no matter how deep the listings go.

See you out there.
