June 12 - Newbie Protection, Bank & The Menagerie
Patch Notes & The Menagerie
Beginner Protection has a timer now. Bank Vault scales to a billion.
Beginner Protection isn't forever anymore
For a while, anyone under Level 15 was off-limits. You couldn't be attacked, but you couldn't attack anyone either except NPCs besides the 10-14 level band.
That ends now. Protection last up to level 25 - with a clock on it.
You lose it the moment you hit Level 25 OR pass 7 days since signup — whichever happens first. Most active players will graduate out by hitting Level 25 long before the timer matters. Anyone who's stalled at low level for a week ages out automatically.
If your account's already older than a week and you're still under 25, you're out of this protection. The radar will start surfacing you to higher-level players.
The training NPC line up has increased to 10 to support early combat game play: Street Thug at L1 right up to Soldato at L24. You've got a week to make them count. Their stats scale based on the live player pool of that same level.
Bank Vault now goes to Level 30
The old ceiling of $100M at Level 10 wasn't going to cut it long term. New tiers added on, ending at a clean $1B cap at the new Level 30.
L11 through L20 carries you from $120M up to $500M. L21 through L30 finishes the job at a billion.
L1 through L10 is completely untouched. If you were already at the old max, you've got upgrades waiting at your disposal - it may not mean much right now, but with a lot of new content landing soon - it will make sense.

We plan to push an update regarding this soon. Stay posted as we look at making this more meaningful.
The Menagerie's almost here
Speaking of soon — there's a thing called The Menagerie that's been quietly cooking.
Pets. You'll buy them around the city — different districts stock different pets, and rarity matters. A common pet caps lower than a rare one. You feed it, you train it, you spend the points it earns on whichever combat stat you want to push. Over time a well-raised pet becomes a real stat boost in combat.
You'll also be able to pick one to show off on your profile. A real showcase of what you have obtained.
There's more underneath all of that, but you'll see when it lands.
