Referrals, Competition & More!

The referral system has been revamped.

Previously, referring would hit a brick wall in terms of rewards. Some of you was close to that - that's changed and much improved. Referral milestones are now reset monthly - so you can go through and earn them all again. Reward adjustments have been made so they're now more meaningful too.

Along with these changes, Round 4 of the Referral Competition has now launched and ends in 30 days. Go to "More" > "Refer Friends" to find out more.

A gentle reminder that referral abuse is not tolerated. Action has been taken previously and this is continuously monitored - refer to our TOS if neccessary.

We've been seeing a lot of new faces arriving to The Fifth Family as of late and it's likely to increase further as we're testing & adjusting marketing campaigns. Lend a hand to any one new if you're able! Although we've launched a revamped tutorial several days back, having some direction off an experienced player is always helpful!

Just a little thank you also for the community that we have built so far. We have just hit 6,000 registered users since launching on March 29th and daily active users has began to climb again since V2's launch just over two weeks ago. That sort of paints the picture of the wall we hit in V1, content stalled as you surpassed Level 100, player base growth stalled and we've addressed a ton of issues that needed resolving.

That work does not stop - an enormous Arena rebuild is currently in progress, everything is designed & authored and it's very much in the works. That's not just a rebuild, it's also an expansion to make it even more relevant to those who can't quite compete at the top, new opportunities & more reason to play besides ranking. Priority number one surrounds all of PvP, Co-op related play & family competitive related content - this is being addressed over these coming weeks. Chary has begun designing and authoring relevant documents and that work starts soon on my half and has already begun on his side. No dates, no teasers yet - but I thought it would be important to acknowledge these are the areas that are requested widely amongst the community to start addressing and I'd like to clarify exactly where we're heading next.
