Fast Progression & Passive Income Meta for New Accounts
If you just started out, there are a few mechanics you need to use early on to build a massive money printer and avoid making rookie mistakes. The in-game tutorial only covers the very basics, so this guide breaks down the actual strategy you should use from day one.

Quick Tip: you can quick use your consumables by pressing your vitals at the top of your screen instead of going into your inventory
Money Management & Early Smuggling
The Bank Habit: You technically have a safety window until Level 25 or 7 days where you can't be robbed, but do not rely on it. Get into the habit of storing your money immediately. You want your cash held in the bank or actively spent on upgrades anyway to maximize your passive interest bonuses. Leaving cash loose is just a bad habit.

Downtown Smuggling: Start smuggling contraband as early as possible to generate your baseline wealth. Since you are stuck to Downtown at the start and cannot travel between cities yet, you have to work the local market.

The Golden Rule of Smuggling: Never sell to the lowest buyer. If you do, you will actually lose cash on the trade. Always hold out until the local prices shift to a viable payout so you don't burn your funds.

Bank Interest: Use your Mafia gold to scale your bank interest rates so your hoarded, protected cash prints its own money.
Real Estate & Vault Mechanics
Real estate cash does not automatically go to your main bank—you have to manually collect it. Every property has a local vault with a strict capacity cap. If you leave it sitting and it caps out, your property stops making money entirely.

If you are away for hours: Upgrade BOTH your property income and your local property vaults. This ensures your properties keep printing cash while you are offline without hitting the cap.

If you are playing actively: Do NOT upgrade your local vaults. It is a complete waste of money since you are online to click collect anyway. Save that cash and throw it entirely into income upgrades or buying new properties.
Racket Loot Trick: Consumable Boosting
When you are running extortion, do not just chase raw cash. Focus heavily on the item rackets to help your account scale over time.

The Consumable Shortcut: Go into your racket settings and use the loot table feature to swap your 2nd item drop.

The Strategy: Doing this lets you secure quick gains on consumables to keep your progression moving. Additionally, utilizing this trick increases your chance of double gains to passable rates.
The Black Market Weekly Buys
The Black Market is essential for sustaining your progression. For a full, detailed rundown of exactly what each market sells, check the community Wiki.

Weekly Reset: The Black Market resets its stock on a weekly basis, so make sure you clear out the essential stock before the timer rolls over.

Cash Purchases: Make sure you purchase all available consumables sold for cash every single week.

Mafia Gold (MG) Priority: Always use your Mafia Gold to buy Nerve.

Excess Gold: If you have extra MG to spare, choose to spend it on Energy and Stamina consumables to further speed up your account growth.

5. The Daily Routine
The Gym (Never Leave It Idle): Always have the gym going. But remember, higher ranks give more stats but also take longer, so sometimes staying at the previous gym rank is actually better for gains. If you know you are going to be away from the game for a while, pick the rank that matches your real-life downtime to milk the most stats out of your time.

Pet Care (Daily Feeding): Do not neglect your pets. Make sure to feed your pets daily to gradually grow their stats over time. Consistent investment here builds up powerful long-term stat modifiers.

Lucky Wheel: Make sure to claim your Daily Free spin on the Lucky wheel every single day for easy free rewards.

PvP Unlocks (Level 25): Once you hit level 25 (or 7 days old) it opens up PvP and you can earn up to 350 mafia gold daily by attacking other players and winning. Do not leave this gold on the table.

The Arena: Run the arena daily to secure and maintain your spot on the leaderboard. Additionally, every time you defeat a boss, you receive a ticket. Make sure to swap these tickets at the ticket master directly within the arena page for fast gear or save them for an epic piece.

Street Racing: Once you own a car, you will unlock new races as you progress into new areas. Run these daily for steady cash. Don't forget to set up your "family race" choice for the week as well to generate family favor. (The cash earned from these receives bonuses from Active Income Perks)

Academy Degrees: Keep a course running 24/7. Early on, focus entirely on Crime Success degrees. This keeps you from failing crime missions as often. Once your success rate is solid, pivot immediately into Passive Income degrees and Real Estate Income to boost your real estate cash.

Street Intel: These solo missions refresh every 5 to 10 minutes. Stick to Low Risk or Medium Risk early on. High risk will just wipe you out, cost you cash, and waste your time.

Resource Management (Keep Vitals Spinning): Never let your vital resources sit at maximum capacity. Leaving them capped means you are throwing away passive regeneration time.

Spend Energy on careers that target the exact passives you need, specifically focusing on Passive Income, XP bonuses, and Vitals Regen.

Spend Nerve on Crimes to maintain steady progression whenever possible.

Burn Stamina continuously on Fight Club, Street Intel, and Street Racing to maximize your daily gains.
Skip Heists (With One Exception)
Generally, do not run heists early on. They use a push-your-luck mechanic that is way too risky and inefficient for a beginner. If you fail a later stage, you lose everything. You should typically only run heists if you absolutely have to for a weekly syndicate mission.

The Gino Exception: Completing the in-game tutorial awards you Gino the pet. Gino provides a powerful [10% bonus to heists when set as your active pet]. Because of his unique passive, running heists can actually become highly beneficial and viable early on if you utilise him.
Achievements Strategy
Achievements are a fantastic way to either actively or passively progress your account, these rewards are huge and should be taken advantage of.

Early Game Progress Accelerator: Hunting achievements is hands down the best way in the entire game to secure massive early progress. They award an immense amount of loose cash and Mafia Gold (MG) right when your account needs it most to purchase upgrades and resources.
Gear & Alliances
Equipment Sets: Look for matching items. The game has many different equipment sets. Wearing matching pieces gives you massive stat boosts that blow random gear out of the water. Forge your best gear to upgrade its base rank.

Blood Bonds & Crews: Find another active player and form a Blood Bond immediately for permanent, stacking stat modifiers. Also, get into a decent Family crew early so you have team backup and shared treasury perks.

Battle Pass & VIP Mechanics
The progression system heavily relies on maximizing your passives to cut down on training times and scale your economic growth, this is another way to add to this.

The 150-Tier Battle Pass: The Battle Pass has been updated to feature 150 total tiers, split into a Free track and a Premium track. Always keep up with your tier challenges to secure the rewards before the pass expires.

Free VIP Access: Advancing through the Free version of the Battle Pass awards you several days of VIP status completely free. This allows free-to-play accounts to regularly cycle into high-tier account boosts.

VIP Perks: You can check out the Platinum Store in-game for a full, detailed breakdown of every single modifier VIP status provides. The most critical perks that will completely change your gameplay scaling include:
- Faster training speeds in the Gym.
- Double bank interest payouts to supercharge your protected cash generation.
- Increased maximum vital resource capacities so your energy, nerve, and stamina take longer to cap out while you are offline.

Final Note: Please check out Charybdis' Stat post on this same thread, This delves deeper into each passive stat bonus and how it benefits your gameplay.
